Publisher: Task1

Today we're going to work with the program Publisher.

Microsoft Publisher is an application for desktop publishing intended mainly for novice computer users. The Publisher app can be used to create forms, newsletters, advertisements, brochures, envelop letterheads and so on.

Task1

Create a STUDENT CARD

(Carnet d'estudiant)

Information:

- Name

- Picture

- School

- phone

- adress

- email adress

- favorite hobbies and interests

- sport team

- logo of the school

- etc.

1. Design it with Publisher, using a 

2.  Mind the design, colours, fonts, background, size...

3. Save it as a PDF and save in the Dropbox folder.

We don't need a PenDrive

Today’s lesson will be about DROPBOX, a powerful tool to store files, documents, music, photos, etc… on the “cloud” and have access from any computer with internet connection.

FIRST What this introductory vídeo and follow the steps below

SECOND – Go to http://www.dropbox.com and SIGN UP to have a Dropbox acconut

THIRD – Lets try Dropbox.

1. Create a Word document  2. Write your name and your favourite music band. 3. Save this document in “Mis Documentos”. 4. Go back to Dropbox and UPLOAD the word document.

FORTH – In Dropbox, create some FOLDERS (one for each subject)

FIFTH - Share the FOLDER informàtica with your teacher (tictriay@gmail.com)
